The joint meeting was held on 8, 9, 10 and 11 May 2012 in Quito, Ecuador, between GAFISUD and the EGMONT Group of regional typologies on money laundering and terrorist financing.
This activity was done in collaboration and funding with the GAFISUD – European Union Project.
For the development of the programmes the delegations of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, participated actively and made presentations of their typologies on the non banking financial sector and new payment methods and other vulnerable sectors. Guatemala, United States and the World Bank participated too.
